Stage 1 chiptuning — what do you really get?

Stage 1 is the most requested upgrade in our workshop. Software-only, no screws loose, no parts replaced. We read your ECU, rewrite the maps for fuelling and boost, and flash it back. You're back on the road in three to four hours.

What changes under the hood?

Manufacturers ship cars with software that allows for the worst possible fuel, climates from Siberia to the Sahara, and rules in 100+ countries. In the Netherlands, plenty of margin is left.

• +Slightly more boost within safe margins
• +Adjusted injection timing for better combustion
• +Smoother torque curve, especially lower in the rev range
• +Faster throttle response

What do you notice on the road?

The difference isn't only in peak power. It's mostly the feel: fewer downshifts, smoother pickup in traffic, and the car feels more awake below 3,000 rpm.

And consumption?

Driven calmly we often see slightly lower consumption. More efficient combustion means more work per drop of fuel. Floor it every time and of course you'll use the extra torque.

Warranty and certificate

We give a 5-year software warranty. You'll get a before/after dyno chart plus a certificate. Useful for your insurer and any MOT questions.
