Is chiptuning bad for my engine?

Not if the software is right. We stay within the factory margins of the block, injection and turbo. On our dyno you see before/after that the values are safe. That's why we dare give a 5-year software warranty. Damage from our software? We pay the repair.

What if I don't notice the extra hp?

We measure before and after on our own dyno. If the gain isn't on paper, we keep tuning until it is, at no cost. 2,400+ tunes and never needed, but the deal stands.

What happens to my factory warranty?

The factory powertrain warranty lapses on tuned parts, that's the legal position. That's why we give a 5-year warranty on the software ourselves. Parts outside the powertrain (aircon, electronics outside the ECU) keep their factory warranty.

Will I have issues with the MOT?

No. We stay within the Euro standard your car complies with. DPF, EGR and AdBlue keep working as required. If in doubt, we do the MOT in the same appointment.

Some insurers want to know about power changes. You'll get the dyno report and certificate to declare it cleanly. A correct Stage 1 rarely changes premiums.

Can the tuning be reversed?

Yes. We always keep the original file, so we can return your car to factory at any time.

How long will my car be away?

Stage 1 software-only: 3 to 4 hours including dyno before/after. Stage 2 with downpipe: one day. Stage 3 depends on hardware choices — we'll plan ahead so you're not without a car.

What does it cost exactly?

Stage 1 from €350, including before/after dyno, certificate and 5-year software warranty. Stage 2 from €899. Stage 3 on request. Email your plate to info@asf-performance.nl, we usually reply within 1 day.
